Who is the Holy Spirit?

What does the Holy Spirit do?

Why is the Holy Spirit important to me as a follower of Christ?

At Timberlea Baptist Church we believe that God reveals himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that an understanding of The Trinity helps us to see both the character of God and how he continues to work. With this in mind we invite you to join us over the next six weeks as we explore who the Holy Spirit is and the significance of the Spirit in the church today.

In Acts 2:1-13 we read the account of Pentecost where Jesus' disciples receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit which enables them to carry out what He had called them to, a day which is celebrated this year on May 20th. This day will mark the end of our series but before we get there we'll be looking at what scripture has to say on the following topics:

April 15 | Holy Spirit & The Trinity

April 22 | Holy Spirit as a Mark of Salvation

April 29 | Gifts of the Spirit

May 6 | Life by the Spirit

May 20 | Pentecost

God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. - Romans 5
